Compare the right prices
Ofgem publishes different regional rates for Direct Debit, standard credit and prepayment, and treats gas and electricity separately. A prepayment tariff should not be compared with a Direct Debit cap.
When no comparison is shown
If the payment method, fuel, region, dates or standing charge do not match, we do not show a price-cap saving. Economy 7 also needs separate day and night electricity use.
